Fearless

I have been really working on living fearlessly. What is funny about living fearless is that when you come across that inevitable "Wheel of Fear" it really smacks you hard. I had that happen to me just this weekend. My ego got in the way of being really honest with myself and when I faced the fear attached to my ego - boy did it hurt! I had to face that ugly, shadow part of myself and it wasn't pretty. Where have you faced fear inside of you? Have you found that the more you become aware the more it hurts to see that part of yourself? I would love to hear and discuss this with you. Write back!

  1. Just coming out of a disastrous marriage I am working on my ego from two stand-points - I was the one who tried to keep us together(i.e., look at me I was better than him) and I am a failure in relationships (i.e., I didn't do the right things to make the marriage work). I still swing up and down as I try to deal with my loss.

  2. Judi - thank you for sharing your feelings. I would love to talk to you more about ego - it is such a strange part of ourselves. It can boost us up or cause us to eat ourselves up alive. It sounds as if you are beating yourself up a lot. I do believe that Rhonda Britten in Fearless Living can help a lot. I will be starting a book group in May that will be over the telephone. Have you signed up for my newsletter? I will mention it then. If I can help, please feel free to contact me - also available on my webpage - www.WiseHeartCoaching.com
In the end, my suggestion is - to love yourself a little more.
