OK, tomorrow I start Boomer Bootcamp. It is an intense workout program to get my out of shape bod into shape. So, here I am 60 years old and ready to start an having someone direct me how to work out. My body is scared. Two days a week! Doesn't help that I fell off my bike today - again!

Awesome. I am doing my own version of Boomer Bootcamp along with you. Today I rode my bike to do errands and to get to my office. (I didn't fall off, but I did walk it down the hill). Looking forward to hearing more.

The best thing about these "bootcamps" are the automatic support systems built in! Support systems help you do things you could not do on your own.

Good luck! I also went through a fitness bootcamp back in February of last year but it just wasn't right for me. It was too grueling even though they claimed that it was for all levels - Yeah, right!
ReplyDeleteSo I've just focused on walking, swimming, and strength training on my own.
I'm ready to check out another bootcamp in the area and see if it's a better fit because I agree with Dave that the support systems are key!
